Hi, I'm Bethany.

A few years ago, I was working for someone else, struggling to make ends meet, and carrying around a whole lot of creativity with no real place to put it. I knew I was an artist. I knew I had ideas worth sharing. I just wasn't sure I was allowed to take up space with them yet.

The first shift came from something small. I shared a crocheted Baby Yoda I'd made for my son on Instagram, and someone reached out asking if I could make pieces for their shop. That one message changed everything.

From there, I started saying yes. To markets. To learning. To experimenting. To networking. To writing. To opportunities that felt exciting and terrifying all at once. Little by little, BEX grew but the biggest transformation wasn't the business. It was me. I stopped letting fear make my decisions.

Instead, I started choosing curiosity. I stopped waiting until I felt "ready" and began trusting that growth would happen along the way. Every new project, every connection, and every leap outside my comfort zone became another reminder that most of the things we're searching for exist on the other side of fear.

Today, BEX has grown into a creative practice that spans landscapes, fibre art, writing, and illustration, but the heart of it has never changed. Build honestly. Stay curious. Create bravely. And don't let fear decide who you become.
